Skipper,
<"And God said, let us create man in our image..." Yes, we are all gods.>
I can make a bronze image of myself, and it may have many similarities to me, but it would not be me, nor would it possess all of my capabilities. Surely you do not consider yourself to possess all of the creative power neccessary to create from nothing, this universe, with all of it's order, natural laws and diverse complexity. Do you cosider yourself equal to the God that created the universe (regardless of what we believe about how he created it)? Yes, you are a god in the sense that this creator, God obviosly allows you to believe what ever you want about Him, and I am not about to take that right away from you. I can't. But just because you are allowed to believe whatever you want, does not neccessarily mean it is wise to do so. I would suggest that you ask yourself whether your concept of God is being driven by what you would like the truth to be (a cnvenience), or a genuine seeking of the truth, regardless of where it leads you.
Why do you use a bible verse if you do not consider it a credible source?
