Gary, I think that the early run-up in the stock was largely related to momentum investing and a serious Cabot driven purchase recommendation. When his PRST debacle unfolded at the same time as a mistaken Reuter's announcement of an earnings downgrade the stock plunged. I first heard of CUBE from news reports of the Reuter's mistake and bought in shortly after at 37. Lost my lunch as the stock dropped to 21 and was happy to escape with a nice 10% gain by selling at 41 a short time later. Got back in at 25 and will stick it out now, adding to my position on price fallbacks. I love the Shorts because they allowed me to get in and are allowing me to accumulate at reasonable prices! Maybe someone else can check the facts about the Reuter's and Cabot angles but that is my recollection. GR
