There are analysts following the stock...

I know for a fact that Dain Bosworth and Piper Jaffray follow the stock. While they are not nearly as large as Merril Lynch or Smith Barney, there is little incentive to follow a small company that won't be giving out any new investment banking business anytime soon. That is the only thing that drives coverage of small stocks -- IB business.

As far as when to buy, just about every successful investor will tell you to invest BEFORE there is news that makes everyone want to own the stock. Is MZON risky? Of course. One thing to remember, though, is that the stock price has rebounded on relatively strong volume of late, and most of the bad news that can happen is already priced into the stock.
