Analysts at US Bancorp Piper Jaffray reiterate a BUY-AGGRESSIVE rating of Motorola. The analysts say the company's shares are undervalued, citing acquisitions and "tremendous market acceptance of Motorola's new digital telecommunications offerings."

Smart card suits you, sir
UK retailer Marks & Spencer is testing a smart card-based system developed by Nottingham Trent University's Computer Clothing Research centre.
The system uses light beams to scan a person and creates a three-dimensional image of their body. The image is then stored on a contactless smart card, allowing customers to wander around the store and easily check whether a garment would fit them. The cards can even be programmed to trigger off customised readouts, such as "A perfect fit, sir".
Nottingham Trent University's professor Stephen Gray predicts that changing rooms will be replaced by body-scanning chambers within the next five years. Development of the system is also being funded by other chain stores including C&A, Next and Sears.
