jack, I would think the cost of buying would have to be included in the cost of production, as with Barricks purchase of Pierina. They say the cost of production is about $45 per oz., but don't forget the $1 billion it cost to purchase which would bring the price to about $187 per oz. still a very good price, but Barrick will be taking the highest grade first..at less cost. That is my assumption.
