2.34 million shares accounted for in this survey. 36 different respondents. 10 had less than 5,000 shares. 6 had 100,000 or more. The average was 65,000 shares. The median was 15,500 13 were members of message boards, while 9 claimed no affiliation to any message board; the other 14 were unknown.
Some interesting comments people made: a total of over 800,000 shares are being held in paper form in safe-deposit boxes, etc. Most commented that they had been buying since the suspension, especially those holding some of the most shares.
Two different respondents commented that they have held 5,000 or more shares since buying in the the $3.50- $4 range over a year ago.
Two different people said they had no interest in even joining a message board. Three of some of the top shareholders do not have membership. Out of the 35, 3 were sent in by proxy, in other words, friends or family members responded on behalf of them. 2 of the shareholders accounted here were from reliable hearsay. Only 1 account for 25,000 shares was excluded from this survey for being a duplicate that another sent in for them. Every e-mail was checked in the headers to look for it coming from an anonymous e-mail x- mailer. None were found. Most messages were responded to and none returned.
To those expecting a projection, I have come into so many confounding variables in calculating a projection. My experience with statistics comes from a few undergraduate physics and chemistry labs, so the statistics models I can come up with don't allow for the rate of error and my clumbsy polling methods. Maybe someone out there who has much more statistics experience in accounting for all the margins of error and confounding variables than I, such as someone expert in social science could do this. I am sorry, the best I can do is give a run- down of some of the demographics and present the data. |
