All good points. The big advantage that KERA has at this point in time is that the people in the know the most, the docs, already sense the issues you raise with LASIK, and the infrastructure they have built, along with the potential (even if technically small due to good disclosure, FUD rules) for liability that they have laid down, gives KERA a huge amount of leverage to come up fast from the rear. One post, I don't remember whether it was here or Yahoo, reported the fact that at one large clinic which is not doing Intacts as well as LASIK, essentially all people who came in with ranges applicable to Intacts went out with Intacts even though they may have not known about them, most likely not, before they went in. Clearly if at this level, KERA gets 100% of an 8% slice of the pie, the hand writing is on the wall as they expand the pie.
