Eric,
I was under the impression that IPM thought it prudent to not discuss amounts of Pt at this point, although they did post the Pt assays on their site. I've seen nothing from them re the economics of its extraction, but believe they have mentioned recently that two refiners are evaluating their Au/PGM product and was under the impression that a number of refiners routinely recover Pt from such mixtures.
Don't CHIP and MXAM also talk of rather facile ion-exchange separation of the PGMs? Economics seems to rest on whether elution is possible vs having to burn the rather expensive (probably chelate-based) resins.

"technology companies trade at a high multiple these days" --wish some of mine would trade at their former multiples :o)
