baldy, would you have time for a software question? i got the strangest error message this am and since we moved i can't find my
laptop manuals anywhere.

i would appreciate it if you would translate this:

A Fatal Exception 0E has occurred at 0137:BGA6447
and those "0" have dots in the middle of them.

i was trying to get into SI at the time and using netscape 3.0
all it would do was sit there and whir. then i got another pop up message that said my C:\ memory was full.

any ideas?

PS. i disagree that all the other "bad dates" have had no effect on us. we aren't the only people using computers on this planet. and microsoft wouldn't be busy suing their insurance company to pay the tab on incomplete remediation of this y2k problem if it wasn't the real mccoy. or didn't you see that press release?

yes, microsoft, unisys, xerox, a branch of j.p. morgan bank and GTE
are all suing for multiplied millions and filed under sue and labor clauses prior to the end of 99 so that they would be among the first in line.

and why have other big corporations sued their merger and acquisition advisors over bad advice when companies who did not WANT to do remediate were foisted off on them as wonderful merger candidates without full disclosure?

this is not smoke, bald eagle, there is fire fueling this plumes of smoke and this y2k problem stinks badly.

thanks in advance for your reply. and did you get your solar panels for under $5 a watt like i advised you to strive for about three months ago?
