I left one message saying that there is a "contradiction" between Math 5:18 and Hebrews 7:12 It was perhaps bad humour and was not wise to just leave it at that but rather to have explained that there are "Contradictions" and "Apparent Contradictions"
There are no Real Contradictions in the scriptures.
I hope that we are in agreement that when Jesus said :
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me
That he means also Adam and Abel and Abraham et al .
Some one might say "But they didn't have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ " Say what ???
David says: my Lord is that not personal ??
Mark 12:36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.
The Father and son are both mentioned in that quote. The Spirt in this:
Psalms 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Or to speak of the oldest book in the bible the Book of JOB.
What did Job KNOW in the darkest and deepest hours of despair.
Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
Again Job says my REDEEMER...

There we go again with this "contradiction"
It is true that "all who come unto the father" come unto him by Faith in Jesus Christ Alone... Men may not have known him by that name .. Job knew Him as Redeemer. There are posters of names for this Saviour. Blessed Redeemer is no different that Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace.
However we must admit that the blood of sheep and bulls saves no one:
Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
However those things were offered under the Sacrificial or Cerimonial Laws that God gave men as types and shadow of He who was to come Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him:
Faith in what ???
Genesis 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Now did not God say in "the Law" that we should celebrate the Passover every year ???
Here is the secret: The covenant of Grace has had many modes of application. Abel in a field who know where ?? Moses and Aaron with an alter in the wilderness. The temple worship later reveal to David !
Why is it an option to circumcise our sons in this day ??? Because that was commanded and part of the cerimonial law of

We do not circumcise we Baptise We do not partake of Passover We have the Lord's Supper
Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
All of this PROVES that "the LAW" did change. but what is meant by "the Law" when talking about these "kinds" of things. Are these MORAL LAWS the same as the Ten Commandments ???
Is " you shalt circumcise" the same as "Thou shalt have no other gods before me"
NO One is the JUST GOOD HOLY and UNCHANGING REFLECTION of GOD'S Moral Righteousness. The other was a reflection of God's progressing and CHANGING plan of Redemption !!!
I make ( and this is not of myself ) the distinction of MORAL LAW and CERIMONIAL LAW !
There is no CONTRADICTION because the phrase "the LAW" is not being used to speak of the SAME THING !
Look at this verse where Paul teaches that Circumcision is of "the LAW"
Phil 3:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
Now look in another place...Paul says:
1 Corinthians 7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
Circumcision is nothing... it was something... IT WAS the Cerimonial Law of GOD well then is BAPTISM also NOTHING ?? no IT IS the Cerimonial LAW of GOD
So then we have TWO great Covenents ONE of LAW ( Jesus alone was successful ) and ONE of GRACE ( the elect only are successful but not of their own strength or will )
But we also have a NEW COVENANT of GRACE and an OLD COVENANT of GRACE.
So much so that those who serve the OLD are in SIN !!! Why ???
Because to serve under the old is to deny that the Kinsman Redeemer has come !!! That the type and shadows have been replaced with the
===Blessed Reality - Christ Jesus Crucified !!! ===
Hebrews 13:10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
We can no longer please God under the Old Covenant of Grace
