Actually, I think the question needs to be asked; when they did buy the dips recently, it failed and will they try again?

Hard to say about Monday. You got some similarities in the market to 1987; overvalued, overhyped, overexpectations, rising inflation (regardless what the revisionist would like to exclude from the reports), rising interest rates, weak dollar and lack of some sort of concrete policy, new Treasury Sec., touchy international concerns and finally a President that just suffered a major defeat in Congress that signals his official entry into lamedick status.

Will all that protend a crash? Who knows, ceratinly not many felt that way on Sunday of '87. What we haven't seen is capitulation selling which could come Monday or Tuesday, that would signal a bottom. Should be a fun week...... might even see a 1000 points down in a day.
