I agree with you. Further, I do not believe it is the job of public school teachers and administrators to make public school children pray. I do not believe it is the job of public school athletic coaches to make public school children pray. I believe that it is the job of parents to teach children to pray, and the job of their ministers or priests if they go to church.

If someone wants their children to pray publicly in school, they can do as my parents did, and send them to religious school. That is the place for public prayer in school. We had mass every day, and catechism, too. There are many fine religious schools in this country, perhaps the Michaels and Neo and so on should send their children to religious school, if that's what they want.
