I would have preferred calm, reasoned preparation by a large percentage of the population and no panic until and unless something really happened in Jan. Unfortunately The gov't and the likes of your mentality have ensured panic sooner rather than later.
Do not blame doom and gloom articles and such for as if it was their fault the panic would have happened 6-10 months ago when there were actually a few alarming articles in the mainstream press.
The media has for many months cowed the sheep into blindness and now they WILL foolishly panic -- the only question is when and how much.
The stock market has just begun to fall.... the economic ramifications have not even begun to begin.
