Carolyn, now let's not start the flame ok <g>

All I'm trying to say is any dummy can start investing on his/her own.
Even a dummy like myself is doing better now than with a broker. I am not against any brokers, I am sure there are many good brokers who provides great services worth much more than commission they charge.

People should go with whatever is comfortable....
You'll never learn until you try yourself.
You will also learn much faster if you are in charge of your own money.

I miss my broker once in a while though...
When the stock I bought goes down the drain, I have no one to yell at but myself.
