I had to post this one to myself last year, things were so bad. Message 5957803 It's going to get worse if the cpi isn't good. But all that is really happening is that the fed is taking back the 3 cuts last year, and is doing it at a bad time, when considering the fragile psychology of "investors," and I use the term loosely. The economy will slow somewhat due to this stock market drop, if it is sustained. If we are still weak going into the fed meeting, they may pass on the tightening, and put it off until February. This would be smart, to keep the axe overhead, but I'm not setting policy. In any case, it's all going to be ok, and we have some good opportunities to invest right now, although not necessarily in the big cap techs.
