<< Delbert, if Christians ( or Jews, or Muslims or .....) wish to pray aloud, then they should do so. Free country, etc. I have to listen to people like Hillary, Pat Ireland, Geraldo, and Jesse every time I turn on my TV. I live with it. I wish you would try to do the same. >>

I can assure you that you won't see me praying in public unless I had a lobotomy, or I am at the end of a gun barrel. In the latter case it will only be to save my life so that I could get the bastard that forced me to do it.

Michael, the question was " should you pray in secret as your Jesus instructed you to do, or should you pray aloud, as he explicitly told you not to?" It was not a free speech question, it was about if you are going to obey whatJesus told you. Not me, not the Supreme court, not Pat Robertson,...Jesus.

Pat Ireland, Jesse, etc. do not do their "free speech" at the start of a football game, when they have a captive audience. I can turn channels on my TV, as you can. I cannot fast forward at a football game, or graduation, to not hear the coerced prayer.
