You may think my margin point is nonsense, but after drying up credit-driven demand for the stocks this spring and causing a severe correction, it has taken volatility (and hence some risk) out of the group. All you have to do is look at the online brokerage stocks to see that the bubble has been deflated quite a bit.

GST, he was addressing bankers. He doesn't want to see a meltdown that takes lenders with it, so he's warning them to be more vigilant in assigning risk premium in their LENDING against potentially volatile assets.
