DLJdirect (www.DLJdirect.com), the online brokerage service of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. announced an agreement with The 401(k) Company to offer DLJdirect self-directed brokerage services as an investment option in The 401(k) Company administered 401(k) plans.
The DLJdirect self-directed brokerage account ("DLJdirect SDB") is an online brokerage account within an employer-sponsored retirement plan.
The online brokerage account option offered by DLJdirect expands the investment choices for plan participants in The 401(k) Company plans by providing access to stocks, bonds, and over 7,500 mutual funds. With a DLJdirect SDB, plan participants may place securities trades online, by phone through a DLJdirect Investor Services Representative, or through TradeTalkTM, DLJdirect's touch-tone trading service.
