Gregory, I've just subscribed to the Gilder Technology Report and started reading about the paradigm strategies that Gilder advocates.
Needless to say his thinking makes one wonder. One idea that did creep in my little brain was the likelihood that DELL would buy QCOM's handset division & license CDMA technology, subsequently pre-empting CPQ and GTW and preventing their entry in this category [via a superior technology]. Is there a possibility that DELL may want to unleash their business model on some wholly different category [phones] permitting them to establish a unique and proprietary brand position in a revolutionary new technology [cdma], and subsequently allow them to redefine their PC business?
