the pitching has been great....funny how thats what everyone said would be the problem and yet it has been the bats. if the mets were hitting...the series would be over and they would be on the way to the series. the Braves won the first three games by scoring 8 runs??? Some credit must go to their pitching staff also..but a lot of blame has to go on the mets batters. ..poor execution..lack of big hits and just poor timing to slump. Thank goodness Piazza left last night or we may never had seen that slam. he's been horrible! either striking out or doubling up! Killing rallies like crazy! Ugggh.Got to go with him..need his bat..but hopefully it wakes up like the rest seem to be! Could use more input from henderson also. Hopefully!
