Do any of the knowledgeable posters here have any familiarity with the warburg analyst? These downgrades seem rather poorly timed and poorly reasoned. MRL is on the short-list of takeout candidates; DO is in prime position to pick up some quality assets a lot cheaper than just a few weeks ago; RIG-Sedco will be THE deepwater powerhouse; and the whole lot of them are down nearly 40 % from their recent highs. what is this particular analyst's track record? i find the timing poorly conceived unless it is a cheap excuse to provide big players with some better prices. one has to wonder when the EnP's will begin to trade on the basis of upcoming earnings and the very strong weather signals being generated at this early stage of the heating season. watching for bargains... ++good
