Thermo Tech Technologies, Inc. Appoints Caroline Mia Reed as President and CEO
LANGLEY, British Columbia, Oct 18, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Thermo Tech Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: TTRIF) announced today the appointment of Caroline Mia Reed as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Ms. Reed replaces Rene Branconnier who resigned today effective immediately.
Mr. Branconnier, who is Chairman of the Board will remain in that position until the Company's January 2000 shareholders meeting at which time he will not stand for re-election, although he will continue to serve the Company as a consultant.
Ms. Reed, a successful entrepreneur, is a former Federal Express Corporation sales executive who founded the Global Funding Group in 1996 to aid small cap companies capture share value.
In commenting on her appointment, Ms. Reed said, "It is my intention to restore to Thermo Tech shareholders the fundamental value of the Company by effecting the immediate and critical changes necessary to enable the Company to play its unique role in preserving and improving our environment."
Ms. Reed added, "I am eager to restore shareholder value to the over fifteen thousand shareholders presently owning shares in the Thermo Tech Technologies, Inc. by focusing on a complete transformation of the Company both internally and in the marketplace, worldwide. I will impose strict business discipline necessary to move the Company from its research and development phase into a phase of sustainable growth and stability."
The Thermo Master Mark III process is a patented fermentation process providing a controlled environment for biodegradable food waste to be converted into high protein animal feed and wastewater treatment sludge into fertilizer concentrate. The Mark III process is the culmination of over twelve years of active research. The Company has reached the point of critical mass.
