the eu has made it clear that wcdma will be "the" standard but other standards are welcomed. i also find it interesting that erickson buys q's cdma infrastructure business and then teams up with nokia to push wcdma and not cdma2000. you would think q would have worked that little detail out. this will be interesting and will make a difference to q's earnings in the future.
