Les:
Not just CNN. There was massive Kesovo coverage in most European countries that seemed timed, and designed, to change NATO's stance regarding intervention. While it didn't seem to make any strategic change in importance, it did get the poitico's eye...a good chance to appear "caring." It also worked well to switch attention away from BC's domestic entanglements.
We've been led around by Hollywood and the World media...unless you listen, and believe, the media when they declaim they have no real influence. Hmmm...Their lack of influence wasn't apparent during WWII, when they filled movie theaters with what were mostly propaganda type movies..."kick the Heinies butt, watch out for the Yellow Peril," etc.
Yeah right, no influence...the only entertainment executive I can believe is dead now, but he's remembered for saying, "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the average American." |
