JT, don't you think that the CPI will follow the PPI closely and show large increases in prices? Consumers buy autos, cigarettes, gasoline, all of which contributed to the large increase in PPI. When wholesalers and distributors pay higher prices, they pass the increases to their customers, the CPI. Thanks for your insight.
