Eric L: As a one time US Robotics owner many moons ago (long since sold) which was taken over by 3 Com, I am tempted to look at 3 Com again now when I think about the Qualcomm / 3 Com cooperation agreement, announcements such as the one in my previous post, and all the recent news on 3 Com's Palm Pilot.

What thinkest thou? Any comments from others here?

Just a beginning of due diligence, but plan to start research.

Best.

Chaz

Note: Even though Qualcomm and 3 Com are now working together on systems and the pdQ is using Palm Pilot, perhaps any discussion of 3 Com itself belongs elsewhere. If you think so, I will go where that might be most appropriate.
