Agreed. Still, those options HC pointed to as being scarfed down means sumbody be gambling that THIS time something may be afoot in the time-frame indicated by the buying(ie. between now and Nov. options expiration). But we've seen this before. And it has proven to be a foolish gamble. Yet....also, Thompson's is indicating that ~70% of today's action is institutional, with only a modicum(5% or so) being "retail".

It has the appearance of somebody loading a basket of goodies. And given the market in general is really being roiled by uncertainty, particularly as it relates to that awaited CPI number...well, VLNC appears to be holding up well by comparison. Still, to my way of thinking there's enough uncertainty that those in, are in but not adding, those out, are staying out, and those wanting to perhaps join the party are waiting on VLNC management to show some material results for their 2 year effort.

So one might safely say a double bottom has been reached with your aforementioned $4 1/2.

But is this certain? Only p.o.'s will nail it with certainty. And speaking of which..... ;-)
