Lots of short-sell covering after last weeks declines. . . in anticipation of perhaps a better than expected CPI. . .in my opinion. . . .I see this as a glass half full . . .than the glass half empty sell-off. . . .I am not convinced that what we saw was panic selling. . . and the volume was not convincing on the issues that were hurt most. . . for instance, LQID was down 3 1/2 points on 96,000 shares. . . no conviction. I think those that failed to buy into the weakness will regret it later this month. . . and I think we will go higher out of October, until waiting for the calendar to switch . . . there is nervousness, but I don't see nearly what we had last year. . .so I am not expecting a "crash" of sorts. . . William Jepsen has a terrific opposing view. . .and makes some excellent points. . . . best to check both sides of the story before placing bets. Rande Is
