Bux, when your partner signs deals with your competitor then you can surmise that the bonds of loyalty are tenuous at best. My extrapolations from Qualcom and Nokia indicate that the Palm OS has a very good chance of being the standard OS of the wireless world. When you consider Phillips dropping CE for PalmOS and the remaining members of the Symbian Group (MOT,ERICY and Matsuchita) entertaining the adoption of the PalmOS you can see why I am predisposed to wager 3Com's success against MSFT.

To correct the term jumping ship, lets use the phrase straddling the fence with a intense leaning towards the Palm OS. The way things are going I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't jump ship, but it appears to be more politic to straddle in case you insult your partner.
