Not exactly. Look for the other computer makers to squeeze Dell's nads over the next two months while they use their light inventory system against them. Prices will remain the same, but Dell will suffer margin contraction. When the temp spike in the memory and/or LCDs works it way into the 4 to 8 week inventory of the other PC makers, DELL will be back to kicking them in the teeth. Point is you will be buying stuff for the same prices, but DELL will subsidize you in the near-term and other PC makers in the intermediate term.

As an ex-just in time box-maker, I can tell you this is the way it is.
