But in a tie like that, AMD and its stockholders win - all AMD needs is rough clock speed and performance parity so that it can maintain a 30% share of the market, including the high end of the market. AMD's overhead and depreciation is a fraction of Intel's. What would be mediocre performance for Intel will be a tremendous, stock boosting success for AMD. Intel at 1.1GHZ end of Februrary....
