Spoke to ir today. Only the second time I've called this company in the years that I've held the stock. He said there would be no mention of their hedge position in the news release to be out in a couple of days. Spoke at length about the Greek project and my concerns about it proceeding. It is their position that in the end game they will prevail, despite the opposition. However, they do not expect this positive news to show up in the stock price any time soon. At one point in the conversation he alluded to a second release to be out shortly, but although I intended to return to this point we got sidetracked and I never did find out what that release will deal with. He claims that we shareholders should be pleased with the content of both these releases and requested that I call him back after they are out. We also discussed Batistas' Jurassic industry statement. I just couldn't help myself. It's tough enough in this sector when you have to worry about both a rising and falling product price, without having the ceo bad mouthing the sector. Sorta begs the question - is this any way to run an economy ?
