Yup, GENZ as much as said so between the lines. Remember that Hoechst took a license to the CEGE gene activation methods for the TKTX projects.

OTOH, TKTX bristles when asked about this, saying that it was "covering of rear end".

CEGE called it a "partnership".

Hoechst made the ARIA and CEGE moves at about the same time. They've now backed out of ARIA and failed to take a further interest in CEGE (although the epo and "second protein" licenses stand).
