I went to the Deerfield Beach CPU today. There was only one guy manning the Returns desk, and there were about ten people in line there. I had to break through the line to get into the store.

I wandered around for 15 minutes or so, looking at all the exciting new offerings, such as a CD-ROM collection of every Mad Magazine ever published. That was a tempting buy. I was going to purchase a box of floppy disks, until I discovered that there was only one cash register open, which also had about ten people in line. The line in front of the Returns desk was about the same length as when I had come in -- I don't think it had moved at all.

I left, and went to Office Max to buy my floppies. I sure am proud to be a CPU shareholder.

Thanks, Halpin; thanks for everything.
