Do you really think we would have the nerve to send over some nukes? I think we would be very slow and deliberate in deciding our response to such an attack. . . first calling up other world leaders to try to immediately build an alliance.

And if there ever were a country that would respond well to economic sanctions it would be China. . . .I mean we buy what? 70 or 80 percent of everything they produce? Maybe more.

But any such war with China would be very hard on the markets. . . that much is for sure. Not liking this Jiang much. . . reminds me of a young Castro. . . but instead of having a little toy box, he has a Super Wal-Mart sized toy store. His ego is similarly sized. . .and his desire is to be the Chairman.

As you point out, China has a chip on its military shoulder . . but our interest there is now too vital to ignore. The world is a far more complicated place than it was in the 30's and 40's. The biggest threat to world peace by such a power comes when they have no fear of retribution.
