Neither HDD nor Seagate have plants in Taiwan. So no competitive advantage here.

RAM chips have shot up because of the earthquake in Taiwan. My current laptop is a lemon. and I have to replace it. And I was told the same RAM chip I paid $100+ for this summer is now $300+. Dell's earnings for this quarter will also be down due to higher RAM chip costs.
