October 18, 1999 Former President Files Lawsuit A lawsuit has been filed in Alberta against Arrowhead Minerals Corp. and its directors Mark Jarvis, John Hislop and Bruce Campbell. The plaintiff is Allan Laird, former President and still a director of the Company. The suit alleges breach of duty by the directors for, among other things, rejecting a deal proposed by Laird that is the subject of a previously disclosed Wyoming lawsuit. The suit seeks an Order allowing Laird to intervene in favor of the Plaintiffs and against Arrowhead in this Wyoming lawsuit. The suit also seeks an Order authorizing Laird to proceed with his action in the name and on behalf of Arrowhead. Management is of the opinion that the suit is without merit and the Company intends to vigorously defend its position.
