It is the anticipation of higher rates constantly badgering the markets that creates such instability, not the actual raising of them. that's the point. The Fed wants people to slow down and stop throwing money at things. Be a little more cautious, save a few more dollars. Don't be out on a ledge all the time, and stop chasing after the same 5 stocks, just because the other people are. Hey, you know what? There really are some good stocks that are worth buying at todays prices. A little research and some more patience and people will get worthwhile ROI without the risk of mindless indexation. IMO
