That's the next next generation architecture I write about here. Look carefully and you see what I called 'short-circuitng' data users and content. Should I charge royalties from Dan Listwin?
(I'm almost tapping myself on my own the back once again.)

41.3 Cisco's Content Networking Architecture: Banking on the Internet
Economy
The attention web hosting receives as a networking technology pales in
comparison to voice over "X" (pick your flavor: IP, ATM, Frame Relay...) yet
it is the crux of the future Internet economy. And if anyone can make it
sizzle, Cisco can. They've even coined another catchy phrase-"content
networking"-to describe their latest e-commerce product strategy aimed at
service providers offering web hosting and application hosting services to
enterprises.
Analyst Perspective

* Cahners In-Stat Group believes that Cisco's Content Networking
Architecture represents a sound strategy targeting the hosting service
provider space. It is an impressive effort to pull customers and their
pocket books closer to Cisco, but it's also a sound, technical approach to
service provider requirements. Eric Madison (USi) told me, "The more
components there are in the network, the more vulnerable it becomes. By
putting more application-specific intelligence higher up into the network,
Cisco-based networks will require fewer components and will operate more
efficiently and reliably as a result."
