The $64 question is, would Dell have warned for a penny short of mean estimates ?

My low end, off brand boxes ( made in Korea ) haven't taken a price increase. IMO there's more to this than a price hike of memory. The price of memory has been up for over 5 weeks and unless Dell had to go outside their contract base they shouldn't have had enough of an impacted to warn for the entire quarter. Just two weeks ago they were saying it was a non issue, looks like the first two months of the quarter weren't good enough to have over come the added 25% cost of memory applicable to the last month of the quarter.
