Amazing - there actually are 2 (TWO!) people in the States who know about Wi-LAN... Mardy and "quickfix"!

Let's hope this awareness grows...

On another topic, did anyone read the link in my post -
Message 11357953 ?

I would suggest to the thread that Telia's decision to move into the US market may well have implications for Wi-LAN; note, too, Telia's remarks re: Asia.

Though there is no proof that this establishes a timeline for Wi-LAN's progress, there is a lot of circumstantial evidence to indicate that this is, in fact, the case. If anyone is interested, I will lay this out in more detail, but, for me, this means that Wi-LAN will be making a noticeable play in the US within 14 months...and with that will come major awareness of WOFDM. Note that Philips "exclusivity" will have expired around that time, and, given the exposure of WOFDM, other ASIC players might well be in the game.

This is all speculative, but I'm almost certain that this gives a timeline to Wi-LAN's script. Would welcome any comments.

Good luck to all, JK
