From NN's conference call on August 24, 1999:

Q: Was strength in NSA b/c of SBC or beyond?
A: SBC was largest customer. NSA had double digit growth.

Q: What about DSOs?
A: We fixed operations this quarter. We're working on this, especially in Asia. Large accounts have been collected since the close. DSOs would have been close to last quarter.

Q: Tight controls continue? Gross margins?
A: Gross margins to improve 20 basis points per quarter. Continued emphasis on cost control.

Q: Of $475 million, how much was from 4Q and from 3Q?
A: All $115 from 4Q we shipped. Backlog was flat. We maintained level of backlog we had at beginning.

Q: Inventory numbers?
A: We made conscious decision to increase inventories. Will keep expectations in line. Increased raw material as well.
