If ag weren't so concerned,he wouldn't have taken the calculated risk of talking down an already melting market..
If the powers that be were really brilliant and didn't show the hubris
they show, they would kill crony capitalism and interfering policies
which create financial types to use the policies for their own gains..
If I am not giving them too much credit,I hope lately by their recent actions,the cbers are finally trying to kill the financial types who
have been using bonds,yen,and gold to leverage themselves to the hilt while playing the different financial markets..
I heard Muriel Siebert offer an easy solution to add stability to the financial markets..she said something to the effect that if the governments of the world got together and established hedging rules and margin requirements or something like that..that should eliminate
a lot of the risk that the high flying speculators create for the
global markets..
If one country just establishes rules, the derivative players etc just go the country that lets them do their financial thing
