Jerry,

Nice to hear from you again. I have full confidence in siii. The ongoing revolution in telecommunications and home entertainment will become obvious when people look back, but a lot of the "gurus" have a mindset that is too short term. siii has the ability to bring to the mass market the sort of graphics power that we could only dream of a few years ago, just as Intel has brought to the mass market the kind of processing power that were only available in expensive workstations just a few years back. However, the evolution of the x86 family is coming to an end. The power of the Pentium II is not that much better than a Pentium MMX at equivalent clock speed. Any further enhancement in the power of the PC will increasingly depend on advancements in peripherals; e.g. memory subsystem, graphics subsystem, bus speed etc. This is where siii comes in. The diversification of their product line signals a new phase of development, and an important one.

Glad to see BCHXF back into the 50s. I should have listened to you and get back in in the 20s! They too are broadening their product lines. Hopefully, with the cash from 3TC, they can fund more research into other areas and become a full fledge pharmaceutical company. The ride will be bumpy getting there though.

Best wishes,

Adrian
