I dunno. Guess rumors are probably restarting in the big money community again.

In Gus' absence, I guess someone had to do an excite search. Here's some interesting sites to see, ESPECIALLY THE FIRST ONE- ALL SHOULD SEE IT.

See how optimistic AXC is about DST, and how they feel they're just getting going!!!! Also, note prediction that by '99, fortune 500 (whew, that's a sight bigger market than mere fortune 100) companies will have data storage needs in the hundreds of terabytes! By that time, AXC predicts they'll have a 64Tbyte 81x machine, at a price per MB of below a penny I believe, if current trends stay put.
In reference to earlier discussion of future DST promise, just how much do their data tapes go for? I was looking at all kinds of excite leads but could only find Quantegy offerings for Ampex labeled, but AXC sold, VHS and DAT tapes. Wonder how much their DST tapes sell for. Anyone have any ideas?

Volume does seem to be picking up some, but trades are all small. Is it stealth buying by one major buying, buying discrete sub 10K blocks repeatedly? That's my best guess.
