I believe VRSN has the ability to secure a transaction from computer to computer.....or "box to box"

Going forward.....I don't think that will be enough.

I think transactions will need to be secured "head to head".....meaning that the correct individuals at the computers must also be confirmed.

I believe upwards of 60% of all computer transaction fraud....comes from within the company. Much like casino cheating.....the cameras are more for looking at the dealers.....than the customers. Most folks do not know that.

Index fingerprints will also be the biometric of choice...because they have a long history of being used as evidence in court. I think this is very important in cases where fraudulent transactions lead to legal proceedings.

Anyhow.....If you have gotten your IDX annual report....you will see that IDX has a relationship with EnTrust.....which I believe is #2 in the digital certificate game.

Although it is foggy at this moment.....I think VRSN has much to gain by extending their service to a more total solution.......and that IDX, given their position in the marketplace....would be the most logical candidate.

So I am hoping that VRSN decides to work biometric authentication into their certificates.

One thing I feel secure in saying.....is that the cat is not out of the bag.....(if there is a cat in the bag......or even a bag).....as the lead analyst for VRSN really has no clue who IDX is....or what they are doing.

I'm always looking for a bag......with a cat in it.

Should IDX become part of the solution for secure transactions over the internet......I think the IDX chart will, in a short period of time...look like the VRSN chart.

Pull a VRSN chart....grab a Snickers...and watch the wires.
