They show 35% - almost EXACTLY what I calculated 9 months ago (34%).

- 4000 wafers/week * 13 weeks

- 81 sq. mm. die size

- 85% of 8" wafer has complete die sites.

You do the math !>

So, the assumption is that Fab25 does nothing but K6-2. I wonder how valid that assumption is. I am pretty sure AMD runs other stuff on the same lines (I am ignoring the small quantity of K6-3s and K7s with larger dies). More likely, you have established a lower-limit for the yields.

P.S.: Anyone on the thread have any idea what % of Fab 25 is used for PC processors?
