TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 10, 1997--Multimedia Games, Inc. (NASDAQ: MGAM) announced today that the company has entered into an agreement with Jonathan Goodson Productions, which is affiliated with Paramount Television, to produce and distribute nationally a televised bingo-style game show based on MegaBingo(R), the million dollar bingo game. MegaBingo(R) is run by MGAM twice a night linking more than 60 high-stakes Indian Bingo halls across the country.
According to Daniel Sarnoff, vice president of MGAM and president/CEO of TV GAMES, INC. (a wholly owned subsidiary of MGAM), "We selected Jonathan Goodson because his production company and creative staff have been fundamentally responsible for the success of the television game show format and have been top dog in that arena for more than 25 years."
Some of the current Goodson executives who are part of the MegaBingo TV game show development team worked as part of the creative team at the former Mark Goodson-Bill Todman Productions. Mark Goodson Productions is responsible for such hit game shows as "What's My Line?," "Password," "Beat the Clock," "To Tell the Truth," "Family Feud," "The New Price is Right," "Classic Concentration," and "The Match Game" among many others. Goodson continues to be a recognized leader in the game show field. For example, the president of NBC Entertainment recently stated, "Jonathan Goodson continues to turn out the finest, first-rate games shows in the world." In addition, Jonathan Goodson Productions has extensive experience in the lottery industry, working with numerous state lotteries including New York, California and Florida.

In addition, MGAM and Goodson inked a letter of intent to pursue certain lottery business capitalizing on interactive, entertainment-rich game concepts delivered via the information superhighway.
