For a clue take a look at a chart of Palmer PMD.V . Notice on this chart that in Dec 95 there was a one day surge of 350,000 shaares of PMD. Notice the vol before (very low) and after (higher vol but not much). If you are looking at the chart you will note that the price took off about a month later.

Here are some interesting facts, PMD & WPI are highly thought of By DWA, DWA completed a financing for PMD in Jan 96, PMD had a mrkt cap of 3.5 million before the financing WPI currently has a 6.0 million mrkt cap.

I don't know if DWA is doing a financing for WPI, but I wouldn't be supprised.
