E...there's a number (and I can't remember what it's called) that is considered a pointer as well. Can you tell me what it's called?

To figure out the number you take the difference between the low and high of the day and divide it by two to determine the arithmetic mean. For example: if stock's high is 50 and low is 46 for that day, the mean would be 48. And if your mean is higher than your closing price, that indicates strength, while the opposite indicates weakness.

Do you use this number in your TA and what is it called?
